TEAM FORTRESS A Place To Get Started TF is different from most on-line multiplayer games. In TF you are divided into colors, usually red or blue. Most games/maps are either territorial or CTF (capture the flag). The beauty of the game is not only the teamwork aspect, but the CLASS feature. Players choose from 8 different classes, soldier, medic, spy, demolitions, engineer, scout, heavy weapns, or the deadly sniper. Each class has their own special abilities and weapons/grenade types. Team Fortress multiplayer on-line game is a mod. What that means is that it is a modified version of a store bought game. TF is a Half-Life mod. You must own Half Life in order to upgrade to TF.
